Chatty Cathy, My favorite toy

Oh those days of the first talking dolls. I saw Chatty Cathy and I wanted her. So, of course my mom and dad made sure I got one for Christmas.
I loved my little Cathy and would play with her for hours, pulling on her string so I could hear her say "take me with you" Or "play with me"

My mother used to sleep a lot during the day and I would find ways to play by myself. My Chatty Cathy doll kept me pretty entertained. I would pull her string trying to get her say a certain expression like "I love you" Of course that was my favorite. To have my baby say that she loved me..
