Cheap Electric Guitar - Getting Quality at a Good Price
When you are looking to buy a cheap electric guitar, you are probably wanting to get a decent quality guitar at a fair price, although the two often do not go hand in hand. I know from personal experience, because I like buying cheap electric guitars just to see how well they are made and how good they sound.
In the past, I have bought some that were really low quality, and I ended up putting more money into them than they were worth. I had one that was made out of laminated fiber board that ended up losing all of the screws. Underneath the finish was basically pressed sawdust. I also had one that looked really nice that the bridge was made out of plastic and then painted a metallic silver. I did not realize this until the bridge pieces started breaking off.
I have also had electric guitars that had really cheesy sounding pickups, bad wiring, bad tone and volume controls, and pickup selector switches that mad a lot of noise. The worst was having guitars with really loose tuning pegs. These factors made these guitars look, sound, and play terribly.
Fortunately for me, I did eventually find a guitar company that sells its guitars at a really low price, but their quality is outstanding.
These guitars are not the knock off copy guitars that you see flooded onto shopping sites. They are, in fact, made at the same factory that many name brand import guitars are made at, but sold under their own name brand at a really low price.
