General Information/Tips For Key West Beaches

1. Most of the Beaches are man-made. So, if you're looking for the best beaches on the planet don't go to Key West. Don't get me wrong the beaches are great, but they're just not the best in the world.

2. Bring a pair of aqua shoes or sandals for swimming. They are also great for kayaking, snorkeling, diving, or even bike riding.

3. Partly due to the coral reef, Key West is not a surfer destination. So, don't plan on killer waves.

4. DON'T forget your sunscreen!

5. Although prices vary, many of the beach vendors can be expensive. So, if you have any small folding beach chairs or umbrellas, I would suggest that you bring them. Oh, and don't forget your camera!

6. Ok, this is not a beach tip per say, but it's a tip none the less. As some of you may or may not know, Key West is an Excellent Place to Meet Great People from all over the world. So, don't forget to make a friend or two!

I will be adding more, so stay tuned!
