Cheryl Cole has turned into a fashion and style icon. The twenty-eight year old is no longer a judge again in the new season of X Factor, and we will miss tuning in to see what she is wearing. However, we shall all still be following what she is wearing!
The Girls Aloud star has come a long way from the council estates in Newcastle, when she was Cheryl Tweedy, and now wears some of the most chic clothes in Britain. She is so fashionable, that when British Vogue put her on their cover in Feb 2009, circulation jumped, for their best ever February sales of Vogue. She was featured again on the cover of the October 2010 edition of Vogue
She's also been appearing on the catwalk - the pink dress left is Jean Paul Gaultier
She has now landed a contract with beauty giant L'Oreal to promote their shampoo. The L'Oreal contract is worth a ton and Cheryl is joining the likes of Eva Longoria and Beyonce in representing them.

Cheryl wore a salmon pink evening gown by Victoria Beckham to the Pride of Britain 2011 awards.It's not a colour she has worn before, but it really went with the new blonde hair and she looked chic and classy.

Cheryl is playing a talent show judge in a cameo role in a new movie starring Cameron Diaz. They are currently filming and have released a twitter picture of the "judging panel" - see right.Cheryl is wearing a black lace Pucci dress.

Cheryl wore a Sonia Rykiel smock with polka dots to the X Factor USA auditions. The white and black mini dress made her look young and cute.The closest high street match I could find is the smock dress below:

The American Fox network held a massive presentation to highlight all the shows they'd be broadcasting in the autumn, and of course X Factor USA is being launched at that time. Unsurprisingly, the X Factor team were all there, and Cheryl showed up looking pretty and demure in an orange silk dress by Giambattista Valli, with elbow length sleeves - it looked like she was channeling Jackie Kennedy.She teamed it with a pearl necklace (of course!) by Vivienne Westwood to complete the Jackie Kennedy look.
I loved the outfit - orange is Cheryl's best colour, and she looked way better than any other woman present

Cheryl has a thing for playsuits - her recent L'oreal ad featured her in a white satin playsuit and her appearance in Glamour magazine also showcases her looking summery in a series of floral playsuits.

It from the Jenny Packham Fall 2010 collection. It looked a little difficult to wear though - if you look at the video, when she's in the dress, she's trying not to move too much, and I bet they employed tape to keep it in place!

- Hi! The tiger top in the FFTL video is made by Ashish - it was a limited edition unfortunately. Am not sure it's available anywhere. But will keep an eye out for something that looks similar for you.
