and his co-pilot Jeff Skiles and crew, made a successful waterlanding of a crippled Plane
Unconfirmed reports say a flock of Geese caused the plan to loose it's engines
Minutes after the News broke
I had to find out if my daughter had been on a trip to New Jersey
After listening and watching intensely, moment by moment everything unfolding and then at the end find out one pilot Shullenberger lived near a town I lived in California and Jeff Skiles lives a town down the road here in Wisconsin...they are my heroes as are many of the crew and passengers.
With all that is happening in the world there is some good from the bad to reflect upon.
Because I don't care to fly and have to fly to Germany/Austria (since the bridge will never be built ha ha), I now have resided to the fact I'm not in control and I leave it in God's hands, it's been easier for me to fly.

- Nicely done. Stars to you! I am lens rolling this to my Sullenberger lens, never enough when someone is so good!
BTW, I have to say I am disgusted with those who think that the airline owes them more money for emotional distress!!! I believe that people have the right to sue, but with that right goes the responsibility to act right. Not only is this airline not at fault, but their employees are why these people are alive!
