    Hello,
    I think that this is a very good idea!
    I don't know why any parents would not want this for there child. It only makes since in this day in age. You can never be to safe!!

    Love the idea. Being a child safety advocate as well I think it is a wonderful idea you have. Not just a id card but a simple one you can use like you said, for vacations, functions, field trips, etc.

    This is a great idea. I would probably omit the address, though, in case the card gets lost. My step-son is old enough to carry a cell phone now, but we make him memorize our phone numbers since he forgets his phone from time to time).
