Tips for Child Safety in the Home
1. First is the kitchen which you will have to make child proof. You have to make sure that all the sharp items like knives are kept away from reach of your child and out of their sight. All the chemical items should be kept away from reach of children. Every lock of cupboards should be kept out if their sight or it may sort a thing. Be careful when you are using a stove; place the stove in such a way that your child is unable to reach it. Always try to turn your pots and pans handle inwards to avoid your child to reach up and grab them.
2. Secondly, make your bathroom child proof. The chemicals which you use to clean your bathroom should be kept out of their reach. Always check the tub water before you put your baby inside it. Try to use a rubber mat to avoid slipping. Whenever your baby is taking a bath try to be with them until they complete the bathing process so as to avoid any kind of unfortunate accident like drowning and burns of your baby. Try to pay complete attention towards your baby when they are in bathing tub, if you get disturbed with the phone then try to bring the phone along with you.
3. Thirdly, the windows of your home should be child proof. Try to cut off the cords which are available on your blinds. Try not to place a child crib or your child bed near to window, if you do so then it may cause asphyxiate.

The fourth instruction for Child Safety in the Home is to try to avoid drinking hot beverage while carrying your baby on your lap, as children are very quick and they may grab it and they will burn themselves. Try to keep an eye on your child that they don't play near the laundry room. Try to avoid CPR as all children throttle on food, as adults too do so. Always keep them away from the reach of your child.
Try to avoid burns, as water burns are popular among the most common childhood accidents. So it is recommended that you should not leave your child unattended while they are in bathroom or in kitchen. You should keep check on the temperature of the hot water, take safety measures while preparing meal, try to avoid intake hot beverages or soup when you are carrying your child on your lap, these all are the safety measures to prevent child sweltering.
Wounds and cuts which are caused by knives, scissors, razor, sharps tools, blades originate at home. Try to place all these items away from your child, as it adds to avoid cuts and wounds.
The most dangerous cause for your chills is drowning and suffocations. The area where it may occur is bathroom, swimming pool etc. So always keep an eye on your child while they are bathing as they don't require much water to drown in.
So it is recommended that you shouldn't take potential risks at your home and try to take all the safety measures for each case and think yourself too as it is almost next to impossible to list all the measures comprehensively.
