By keeping this list I can put into one place the things they want that are reasonable. Somethings they want are a bit pricey and will be looked into as something that will have to be replaced. I wish I could get everything they want this year, but reality has to sink in and they may not get it. They won't be upset or let down, but I really want to give them the best since they deserve it. All the money that I'm generating from links and affiliates will be going towards their Christmas presents and Birthdays since my daughter's is right after Christmas. Once I get them taken care of then I can work on getting something nice for myself.

I have a goal of $100 for each child. I may go over or under this year. It pretty much depends on what I can get on sale. Setting a goal is pretty easy. You just gotta make sure it's something you can afford to put aside for Christmas. Start early on and make your lists based on what they have their eyes on. You should also start your buying early. Nothing like waiting until a few days before Christmas and not being able to find what you want. I wouldn't go beyond three months before Christmas. Kids tend to change their mind and you may be stuck with something they don't want anymore. Though you can just ebay it or save it for another child's present.

And finally I don't have to pay for gas to get to the store when it's crowded with a bunch of people trying to finish up their Christmas shopping.
