- Chocolate Lovers Day occurs in the Spring in Morgantown, WV. (April 14, 2011, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.) The annual "Chocolate Lover's Day:
A one day chocolate extravaganza in Downtown Morgantown, and in the Historic Wharf District, where the public is invited to indulge themselves in an array of chocolate creations from a variety of Downtown Morgantown businesses. The cost is $5.00 to browse through the shops and sample the chocolate treats. Registration for 2012 is at the Metropolitan Theater and the Monongalia Arts Center from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Ghiradelli Square Chocolate Festival in San Francisco
- The 17th annual event takes place September 15-16, 2012. Tickets are required and can be purchased by following this link.
- Chocolate Festival in Oakdale CA
- 20th Annual Oakdale Chocolate Festival in California will be held Saturday, May 19th, 9AM - 6PM and Sunday, 20th, 9AM - 5PM, 2012.

Best Brownie Recipe
Katherine Hepburn Brownies
Ingredients:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 stick of butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts - optional
Directions:
Melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate and 1 stick of butter in a heavy saucepan.
Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup sugar. Add 2 eggs, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and beat well.
Stir in 1/4 cup flower and 1/4 tsp salt.
Optional - Stir in 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Pour into buttered 8 x 8 pan. Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
Let cool. Cut into squares and serve.
