What Kind of Garden Should You Grow?
Do you remember when you were a kid and you wanted that special dog?
Mom said it was a lot of responsibility, and you once you got it there
was no going back? Deciding to start a garden requires the same
amount of responsibility and careful consideration should be given to
your options.
Consider is what type of garden you would like to nurture. There are tons
of choices and often it can be hard to narrow your choices.
Do research first to narrow down your choices, you'll make the gardening
experience easier on yourself and the plants. If all your plants are
similar, then it will not be very difficult to manage all of them. So here
are some of my favourite garden ideas for you to ponder.
If you are looking for plants that will look beautiful in your yard, you
may want a flower garden. Flowers gardens are usually filled with perennial flowers.
Perennial flowers are beautiful flowers which stay healthy year-round. They
are technically weeds because of their hardiness, except they look beautiful.
Differnt areas and climates have different flowers which are considered perennials.
If you research online search for your area, you will find a
list of garden flowers that will bring your flower garden to life. Perennials
only require work in the initial planting phase - after that, the flower takes care
of itself.
You may want to consider a vegetable garden. Gegetable gardens
do require a lot more work and research than a flower garden; However,
vegetable gardens can be much more rewarding. No matter what time of the year it is, you can
usually find one vegetable that will prosper.
If you do your research correctly you can have a veggie garden that
will product almost every day of the year! When
starting a vegetable garden, you should build it with the the mind set
that you will add more types of veggies later in the year. This will help
your expandability later on. When your crop is out of season, you
won't be stuck. A vegetable is great for someone that wants to reap the benefits
of their hard labor, but dosen't wnat to spend a ton of time managing their garden.
One of the most difficult types of gardens to manage is a fruit garden.
Fruit gardens are high-maintenance. When growing fruits,
pests tend to be attracted to the fruits sweetness. You not only have to deal
with having just the right dirt and fertilizer, you have to deal with
possibly choosing a pesticide that won't kill the people that eat the fruit. Your fruit
garden will probably not produce completely year-round. The soil needs to be just
right for the plants to prosper, and putting in another crop during the fruits
off-season could be determental to its growth process. If you are willing to
put a bit of elbow greast into working and maintaining a garden, then a fruit garden could be a
excellent option.
Basically, the garden type
Lets sup it up. The gardent type comes down to what kind of product you want,
and how much work you want to put into it.
If you're looking for no product with no work, go with a
flower garden. If you want lots of delicious product, but you are willing
to spend hours in your garden each day, then go for a fruit garden. Just
make sure you don't get into something you can't handle!
Now that I've give you a few garden options that you can choose from,
I wish you luck and happy gardenning.

How long have you been doing this?
I've been gardening since I was a wee tot. Mom would garden every weekend I'd sit in the shade sometimes with a sun tea that she made, but the most fun was getting my hands dirty trying to make a plant sprout from the ground. As a child you can imagine I wanted immediate results and would sometimes get frustrated that a tree wouldn't sprout as soon as I put my peach pit in the ground and watered it!
