Christene I could spend hours here, excellent and very impressive lensography, WOW! I think what brought me here was 'squiddicted' :-) I mean I used that term on a new lens and wanted to link back. Then my Squiddiction took over and... hell, where WAS I? This new lens of mine is about Squidoo friends around the world (squidoo-lensmaster-locations) and I'll link to your Squiddicted lens. Hard to feature Squid friends this way because in many cases I really have no idea WHERE they are, and you fall in that category.

BTW, I have a niece named Christine -- with an 'i'. Does that count? I also have a cousin named Christine, a nephew named Christian and a son named Christopher. Any 'Chris' is a good name! :)

You have a lot of interests and passions, and are a great service to the Squidoo community. I know I have learned a lot from you in the time that I have been a member and I thank you for that. Blessed by an angel!

    Hi, Christene!

My name isn't Christene, but it's often mispronounced as Karen; so it's equally masculine, I suppose (I trust you to get the sarcasm in that remark).

I thought I'd leave a note: I like this "you" blog of yours; I need to create one of my own. I'm very new to the site, so if you ever feel like giving me any advice, I'm certain my virgin lenses could use the touch of experience.

    Take care!

    Christene,
Thanks for the encouragement you gave me on the "New? Introduce Yourself" forum. I am not only new to Squidoo but also to cyberspace. I am a retired English teacher, and I do not like to put anything out there until it is the way I want it. But I know you are right, so tomorrow I will publish my lens as you suggested.
    Yours,

Thank you for blessing my bamboo lens, Christene. I love your name and its spelling. This was fun. Felt like I was taking a tour around the fringes of Christene's world. I bet you're a great friend, and I bet one of them will write here to say so.

I have a niece named Christine!
Thank you for your nice comment on The Virtual Garden.
I love your story about selling things when you were growing up. I tried to sell pet rocks (before they were popular). I painted up some rocks and actually sold one, but my mom made me refund the money.
