Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
Ranked #75,993 in Education, #1,169,576 overall
Having a blog as your hub to entertain your readers is critical to your success in a Christian home based business opportunity. It establishes you as a credible person and one that others can trust. Here is why that is so important.
This is assuming you already have your blog set up, know who your target audience is, and how to even post on your blog.
Social media sites like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook are great places to conversate, socialize, and build relationships. Where most marketers or business owners miss it is that they have a link to their capture page on their profile page. Most people do not want to go to a capture page if they really dont know you.
If you have a blog and you send people to it, they can find out more about you. Now you can attract your audience even more by having up pics, great postings, more things about your life and the real you. This is where you can have a link or banner to your capture page.

Step 1: Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
Here are a few components that you want to have on your blog: about me page, contact info, and recommended resources. More on those in the next article.
Think about it. If somebody followed you from your videos, to your Facebook page, to your blog, and now to your capture page, they are an extremely hot prospect. What are the chances they are more likely to join you in your Christian home based business opportunity?
It is imperative that the links on all your social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkdIN, MySpace, etc) all point to your hub which is your blog.
Make sure that since you are taking the time to drive traffic to it that you over deliver on what your target market needs. When you become a master problem solver and give people what they need you will find yourself very wealthy.
Having all these components together for this one marketing method will help propel you further along in your Christian home based business opportunity .

Step 2: Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
This section we are going to focus on the importance of writing great content. Keep this concept in mind, you are in a Christian home based business opportunity to make money. If you are not making money then you are running a non profit business and you won't be in business too long.
Understand I am not saying that your sole focus is to just make money and don't care about your prospects or anyone else.
Now let's tackle the whole idea of writing great content. We've all heard the saying that content is king. People don't want a sales pitch but they want to read or hear something of value to them. That is exactly what you want to deliver on your Christian business opportunity blog.
Many people say that they don't know where they can find ideas on writing great content for their blog. That is easy. Just open your eyes. Think about all the life lessons that you have learned with your Christian home based business. Think about the questions you had when you first got started, the obstacles you faced, etc. Do not forget to keep your target audience in mind when researching.
Read articles and watch videos on business matters that you don't understand (i.e. ppc, seo, building websites, traffic techniques). One of my favorites is to take life experiences and write about how it relates to my business. Once you do a little bit of research you now have information that you can blog about. Why is this important?
Because most people in general, not just Christian home based business owners, will not take the extra step to do this. So since you took the time and learned something new, you are now more of an expert than the other person. Once you position yourself as an expert you will attract others to you.
Its weird but people like for others to have the courage to tell them what to do. With the internet at your fingertips you will never be without great content to write. Make sure that you don't plagerize but you put everything in your own words. Google doesn't like duplicate content and it will hurt your chances in getting ranked in the search engine for the keywords that you want.
Let's move onto step #3 as we continue to blog our way to success in our Christian home based business opportunity.

Step 3: Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
Optimizing your blog for content is the next step. Remember I said that if you can master all these strategies, your Christian home based business opportunity will be flooded with prospects.
This step will probably be the easiest of all.
1. The first thing that you want to do (if you use Wordpress) is to get the Google site map plug in. It is essentially an all in one Seo pack. It helps you to avoid duplicate content by optimizing the titles for you. I don't know if Blogger has this functionality.
2. Google ping -o- matic. I would personally install this in your tool bar. You want to use this resource after you have posted great content to your blog. This handy resource sends out a message to the search engines letting them know that your blog has updated. The reason why this is so powerful is because it helps to eliminate time wasted on your part.
3. Another great way to get your content out there is to use social bookmarking sites. One of my favorites is Only Wire 2.0. It allows you to go to one site that has over 20 of the top social networking communities and send out one message to them letting them know of your great content. The only tidious task that you have with this is to register for all the sites. This is a one time thing though.
A little side not here, if you are part of other Christian home based business communities by all means post your content there as well.
4. Have a visible RSS feed on your blog. When visitors come you want to make sure that they can get all your updates even if they don't "physically" follow you on your blog.
Keep in mind that doing this overtime and consistently will get you ranked higher in Google for the keyword that you chose providing that you did a diligent job with your keyword research. I am not saying that your Christian home based business opportunity will be booming over night. What I am saying is that you are laying a firm foundation which is critical to your business success.
The fourth article will focus on pages on your blog that you want to always keep in tact.

Step 4: Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
Having a blog for your Christian home based business opportunity will give you more credentials than you can imagine. Blogs are deemed as more credible because your visitors are less likely to have their guards up.
Since people are taking the time to read your blog you want to make sure you have certain metrics in place that won't change. These metrics are an about me page, contact me, and resources.
About Me: Most bloggers get this wrong. This is not the point where you go off course and talk about everything under the sun. Keep in mind that you want to establish yourself as an authoritative figure and one that is relateable. Here is a simple formula that you can follow.
1. Give a bold opening statement about yourself and what you created or mastered.
2. Then go into your background a little bit. You want to draw the reader in so they know you are human.
3. Talk about your struggles in your Christian business opportunity.
4. Now let them know how it all changed.
5. Give a powerful call to action.
Another strategy that you can use is creating a Squidoo lens about yourself. Then at the bottom of this section on your blog paste the link to your lens. Let them know if they want to know more about you they can visit your lens.
Contact Me: This is important because you want to show that you have structure in place. If someone wants to work with you or conversate with you, it gives the perception that you are in control of your time. Not your prospect. The moment you let your prospect control your time is the moment they gain power. Never lose power. You want to control the whole flow of your business as much as possible.
Resources: A lot of bloggers miss tons of money right here. As you are showing to your prospects that you know what you are talking about you can recommend more valuable resources to them. This is where you want to put your affiliate links or banners to products that have changed your life. You can make money and provide value at the same time. It is a win win situation.

Step 5: Blog Your Way To Success In Your Christian Home Based Business Opportunity
Over the last 4 sections we have talked about why your blog needs to be the "hub" that you send people to from your social networking sites.
We have gone over how to write great content and then how optimize your blog for content. Another critical component was the importance of having pages that don't change (about me, contact me, and resources).
In this last section we are going to look at the big picture of why all this is important.
Think about the reason why you got involved in your Christian home based business opportunity. If you are like most you want to spend more time with family and friends, fire your boss, have more money and freedom to do the things you want, and more.
All of those are good reasons. What a lot of people don't understand about owning a Christian business opportunity is the concept of leverage. You see if you just own a business and don't have leverage in place, you will just be a person whose business owns them.
But if you master the technique of blogging you can drive an infinite amount of traffic to your business. Your blog can be a long term asset for your Christian business opportunity. The reason why I say long term is because if your blog is good enough not only will you get ranked high in the search engines. But you will also get massive exposure from other high traffic blogs.
This is leverage working at its best. We've heard of the concept OPM which means other peoples money. Well think of OPB, other peoples blogs. This is the big picture you want to keep clear thought when things seem to get hard and you want to quit.
When you do work one time, because of the power of the internet you can get tons of traffic, countless new business members, and make an infinite amount of money if it is done right. That is what blogging can do for you if done correctly. To read all the articles in it's entirety visit my blog.
