Christian Marriage Advice For Today's Christians

I have extracted this christian marriage advice from a wonderful guide that I accidentally stumbled upon while surfing online. In it, I found God's plan for my marriage. Because of it, I feel closer to my lovely wife, Laura, than ever before!

I had gotten christian marriage advice before, but none of it seemed relevant to the "real" world.

I hope you benefit from this christian marriage advice

Christian Marriage Advice- Re-dedicate Your Marriage To God

Many "Christian marriages" seem to be Christian in name only. The couples claim to be Christians, and they think then that their marriage is also "Christian." That is simply NOT the case! To be a true Christian is to be a believer AND a follower of Jesus Christ. Does your marriage truly believe in Christ? Does your family follow Christ?

Your first course of action is to dedicate (or re-dedicate) your marriage and family to God. Place your marriage on the altar. Give it to God. Don't try to "control" your marriage or your spouse. Give it all to God. From now on. Understand that your marriage must be God's marriage.

Are you confused about God's plan for your marriage? Are you in need of some loving and spiritual guidance? Laura and I became stronger than ever by following sound Christian Marriage Advice

Apply This Christian Marriage Advice On Prayer

Never Stop Praying!

It seems I come across lots of christian marriage advice
regarding prayer. However, prayer is not about petitioning God and asking Him for things. It's about spending quality time with God and establishing a stronger relationship with Him. Truly effective prayer is not possible until you have done the preceding step, which is to give yourself, and your marriage, to God. Once you've done that, never stop praying.

Pray. Pray. Pray, pray endlessly. Pray in the morning, during the day, and at night. Pray while you're driving. Pray in the good times and in the bad times. And, right now, if you're trying to put your marriage back together, then pour yourself out to God every day (as David does in the Psalms). Give all your burdens, cares, and stresses to the Lord. Praying with your spouse can empower both of you to devote your union to God.

Solid Christian Marriage Advice Regarding Unconditional Love

This is quite a challenge. You must love each other unconditionally. (Side note: If you are in an abusive relationship, especially one that is placing you in danger, get out of the house and find help!

You should still love your spouse, but don't place yourself in danger). Assuming that you are not in any physical danger, you must commit to loving your spouse unconditionally - and showing that love in consistent, practical ways.

If you want to know about unconditional love, consider the example of Jesus. You should also read I Corinthians 13. By putting these four principles into practice, you will see positive results in your Christian marriage.
