"There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went ot see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them" (Acts 18:1-3. NIV).

Pricilla worked alongside of her husband, Aquila as a tent-maker, a business conducted from their home. They also preached the Gospel together.

Women in home businesses are one of the fastest growth industries in the world. Working from home takes discipliner and focus. It also means having a balance so you can be successful in the other areas of your life. As an entrepreneurs and business owner, you will need to understand the desires of the market place. Be a life-long learner and keep up with the needs of your marketplace.

"Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Acbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophetess Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem in the Second District" (2 Kings 22:14 NIV).

Huldah was a prominent prophetess during the reign of King Josiah. She also a strategic trainer, teacher, mentor, trustworthy communicator, leader of the law, and planner.

You might work in various types of spiritual or church positions. Your work still touches the heart of the business world. Who knows how many people in business you might share an encouraging word with on a daily basis? Your work can yield tremendous influence in your community.

As a woman in a spiritual or church position, you certainly pray for others and hold them up in good times and bad. thers. You might organize church events, meetings and services or serve as a pastor, preacher, evangelist or missionary.
