Up here by us is a church that actually has an artist painting during the worship part of the service. I don't have a name to give you but it's happening. also I remember from a Winds of Worship cd London there was this prophesy about God wanting to work through the Arts...Very Cool! Good Lens.
    Sincerely, Anna2of5

Wow,...it has been a year since I have been to this lens, but I was drawn back to it again, today. It is still a great lens. I am presently working on a drawing project to share the lives that are affected in Mainland China by the spread of the Gospel message "the 110 Faces of China Project"

You should look up the artist Brian Sherwin. He does the interviews at www.myartspace.com.blog for the Myartspace site and according to his Facebook profile he is not only a Christian, but also conservative. Very odd mix.

My husband did all of the art work for the Lincoln Berean School of the Arts when it started. My husband and I are both artists. Thanks for this lens... what a find!

Beware of Canvas OC. They are using artists to fill their church. Thanks for this site though. It's very hard to find venues where Christian influenced art can be shown. You are providing some great info.

As a Christian artist and art therapist in Australia, I find our resources hugely lacking. I'm grateful for the work you are doing....
I am giving a lecture next week at a theological college on Christian Worldview and the arts.... it was good to find so much sourcing already being done!

This is some great information. I really like Harry Antis. He did some paintings and they are at the gallery in Eureka Springs, AR where The Passion Play is done.

I just created a group for Christian lenses. It's call All Things Christian, and you can add all your Christian oriented pages if you would like. Thanks. The link is http://www.squidoo.com/group/create_lens/AllThingsChristian/f704f5138480fcd9f8ed117a738d2f9c

My daughter is currently an art student at Gordon College, which seems to have some sort of office for CIVA. I'm going to send her a link to your lens :-)
