    I have a collection of Teddy bears in my holiday decorations box, and I always decorate with lots of red and green fabrics plus twigs, cones, evergreens and nuts.

    When my mum was a little girl all decoration they had was red apples .That is what they hanged on the branches and some star shapes made of straw . Uniform store decorations are so boring . If it is Xmas then there must be some home made decor . Hungarian colorful gingerbread cookies or simple salt-flour dough turned into nice shapes ,baked and painted ...

    Oh yes... colors liven up the holidays and it is always good to happy a cheerful and lively vibe in our homes. The candle idea is a good one, makes the space warm and cozy and at the same adds color yet simple and easy to do. Adds a wonderful fragrance too if its scented.
