Christmas is a wonderful time of year and a great learning opportunity. This December why not do a unit study about Christmas?

This a work in progress, please check back often to see the updates!

Getting Started

There are many things about Christmas that you could incorporate into a unit study. Brain storm the different topics that you want to include. Here are some ideas to get you started:

The Christmas Story (Jesus being born)
Christmas customs from around the world (and the country they are from)
The North Pole
Story Books about Christmas (ie: The Grinch, Polar Express)
Reindeer

After you have chosen the direction you are going to go, pick a good selection of both fun and learning activities.
