Cirque Du Freak Books
The Cirque Du Freak Book series has been a big hit around my house with my teenagers. My son Josh has read them over and over. He is very exicted to hear that a movie will come out in 2009.

Cirque Du Freak Book Series
Cirque du Freak (Cirque du Freak: A Living Nightmare in the United States) is the first novel in The Saga of Darren Shan by Darren Shan. It is part of the "Vampire Blood Trilogy", which comprises the first three of the 12 book saga. Cirque du Freak was first published in Great Britain by HarperCollins in 2000, and was later published in the Vampire Blood Series in 2003 and 2004. Cirque du Freak is now a major motion picture.
Synopsis for Cirque Du Freak 2009
Darren Shan is a regular teenage kid. He and his friend Steve find out about a Freak Show coming to town an work hard at trying to find tickets. They do, and together they go to "Cirque du Freak" where they see many strange acts including a werewolf and a bearded lady. Steve and Darren think that it is all a joke until a vampire, Larten Crepsley comes on with a very poisonous spider that he makes do tricks.

I have read up to book #7 so far and im waitin on the rest to come in through the library they are some of the best books i have ever read i can read one with in a day or two depending on what all i have going on. I can't even start reading another book until i finish the whole series and to me i think the person they have playing Mr. Crepsley in the movie isn't the right person the should have somebody who is more physically fit and looks a little more stern. why is there a girl playing cormac limbs i thought that was man but anyways the books a great props to Darren for writing such a great book i just hope the movie is as good as the book. p.s. the book is more of a teenager book so why are all of these adults on here saying stuff and if you don't know what it is then READ THE BOOK!!! ~ MSAUSA 13 yrs old
