I never heard of the Clarisonic SkinCare Brush until very recently. What drew my attention to it was that I saw it on a list of Oprah's Favorite Things for 2007.
As Oprah is very selective I started to read more about the Clarisonic Skincare system and was very impressed by the comments made by people who own the device. Rarely do such products receive such enthusiastic reviews.

I have acne-prone skin, so I like that there are two brush heads - one for sensitive skin and one for normal skin. During testing, I was overzealous with a tea-tree oil treatment and ended up with some flaky patches. But the sensitive brush head smoothed them out without redness or irritation.

What To Do If You Have Acne
Use a cleanser MADE for Acne together with your Clarisonic
If you have a problem with acne, it isALWAYS best to use a cleanser made for acne. Acne is usually caused by bacteria. Most acne cleansers have an antiseptic or antibacterial agent that prevents the spread of the bacteria.
If you use the Sonicare without such a cleanser, you risk spreading your bacteria around your face and potentially making your acne worse. This is not the fault of the Sonicare. The Sonicare will deep clean your face, but in doing so, it can cause cause the bacteria to come to the surface of your skin. Make sure that you kill the bacteria with an agent that is made for that job. Remember that with Sonicare, you do not have to use the Sonicare cleanser. You can use any cleanser you like.
