Classic Personality Posters Guestbook

From the lens Classic Posters of the 70's and 80's.

Comments are welcome, spam isn't. Comments must be approved before appearing. Also, please note, that while I enjoy writing about 70's and 80's posters, I am far from being an expert on the subject. I am not able to to tell you the value of any of your posters or things like that. You can check on places like Ebay to see if your particular pose is listed and if so, what the sellers are asking or getting for their copies. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help, but I am merely a fan who likes to walk down memory lane.

I remember these celebrities and most of their posters.

Two corrections from last post. I called this a blog and not a lens. Sorry, new to Squidoo. Second, I guess it was a pink shiny bathing suit Judy Landers was in.

I knew about (and had) a lot of these posters. Awesome. But how about those Cathy Lee Crosby and Morgan Fairchild posters? Oh Man! Does anyone recall a Judy Landers poster? I saw an image of her recently with the traditional white signature to the side and it just LOOKS like a poster. She's in a shiny leotard. This is a great blog! Keep it up!

When I was in college in the late 70s, we had the classic Farrah poster on our wall. She was the best!

Cool, I really like the posters you had listed. I had, and still have, a HUGE collection of 70's/80's Posters, most of which I bought at Woolco/Woolworth in Sarasota Fl., and ordered from my poster catalogue AA Graphics, (I kept those too). Farrah, Loni, Cathy Bach, both Heather's, so many I could list, anyway, thanks for the rewind...

I have several black light posters from 1969-1970 and the name on them is Pro Arts from Kent Ohio Wondered if this was the same company and if you would know approx. value of posters. One is Blue background with white stars and a large peace sign where normal flag stars would be. Just thought I would check. Thank You

    Hi Ken,
Honestly, I would have no clue what the black light posters are worth. You might want to scout on Ebay and see if anyone is selling anything similar to what you have, that might give you some idea of the price that they are going for. If anyone out there has an answer for Ken, please feel free to share. And, yes I am fairly certain the posters you have are from the same Pro Arts that made the Farrah poster, but again, does anyone out there know for sure?

In the early 70's my parents had a life size poster of raquel welch right by the front door. Yeah, my mom was pretty cool. You gotta love the Seventies! Thanks for the great lens!

Very nostalgic stuff. It's amazing that America's energy consumption hasn't gone down since the '70s, what with all the electricity we must be saving on blowdryers.

I'm featuring this lens on my Squid Angel Diary this week. Blessings to you!
