Clickbank Products I have bought - warts n' all

A frank take on products I have sourced from ClickBank.

There's a fairly steady flow because I'm a compulsive software and "how to" information junkie!

Some products are junk and I'll say so as frankly as I dare.  Other products I love and may sell myself (or sometimes give away when I own rights).  My commercial interest (if applicable) is always declared or obvious - any product from Clickbank or Amazon will entitle me to affiliate commission.

My most recent purchase is a productivity aid for article writers -
Instant Article Wizard.  This software tool improves both article quality and author earning capacity by automating the article research process.

Earlier reviews include two ebooks on Clickbank Marketing by Chris McNeeney called "Affiliate Project X" - and it's sequel "Day Job Killer".

INSTANT ARTICLE WIZARD - research automation for article writers

AUTHOR PRODUCTIVITY - the key to quality and earning capacity

Jonathon Leger is the programmer responsible for $7 Secrets which has shaken up e-book publishing by internet marketers in a big way.

Now Jon has set the cat amongst the pigeons again with the release of a productivity aid that slashes the time it takes to reaseach a new topic on the net and then organise the findings to hack out a first draft article ready for final editing.

My first attempt took me an hour from start to finish including buying the software, learning to use it, researching my topic, drafting and editing the finished article. I submitted to Ezine Articles and was approved and published same day.
For me that's pretty good going.

I won't go into details here as the author has prepared a couple of short videos (overview and a case study) which admirably demo Instant Article Wizard in action - just follow this link: http://4mostip.com/presents/IAW

IAW is not complicated and you can see all you need in a few minutes.

This one is worth a look by every article author. Because if you aren't using it, you can be pretty sure your competition soon will be.

In a much more limited way, it's like the introduction of the word processor - once seen, you've got to try it; and once you've used it there's no going back. So stop right now if you don't have $67 to spend!

The learning curve is so minimal it's no bar to immediate adoption. Here's the link for the videos and sales blurb:

AFFILIATE PROJECT X

A quirky guide to Clickbank product marketing with Adwords traffic

Author Chris (McNeeny) comes over as brash and iconoclastic - a gunslinger set on ruffling feathers. Revelling in his black hat - a kind of British "Rich Jerk".

My take is that he is actually a driven, sharply intelligent marketer who clearly understands the psychology of why we are intrigued and excited by obnoxious ("Rich Jerk") ad copy and the naughty thrill of "black-hat", "outlaw" techniques - with their (implied) illicit promise to "beat the system" and make us piles of loot without much work.

Chris is a thorough and professional marketeer himself, demonstrating and communicating solid skills in Clickbank product selection, brilliant copywriting, astute PPC traffic generation and exploiting JV affiliate leverage.

Actually, the APX sales copy is SO good it contrasts painfully with the woeful style, grammar and spelling of the ebook. So I'd guess that Chris uses a professional copywriter to ghost his ads, in which case, I'd love to know who - and be able to afford him/her!

Chris has been wildly successful in building his own customer list and franchise very quickly - which he will now speedily monetize with increasively lucrative back-end offers and sub-affiliate leverage.

His scruffily presented 60 page ebook appears unprepossessing at first sight. For me this was quickly redeemed by the clarity and incisiveness of his insights, which rapidaly transcend the presentation to reveal a "tour de force" of creative Clickbank marketing.

His main themes are, firstly, that product selection and timing are primary drivers of Clickbank marketing economics. He explains in detail how to do it "right". I've tested his formula - it's simple and it works - "Nuff said!"

Secondly, that in traffic generation, prospect targeting backed with appropriate keyword and copy strategies are key to achieving economic cost-per-click and click-to-order conversion rates.

New and refreshing is how, without fluff, Chris explains in detail how to execute his ideas - and cites tools and resources for implementation.

He presents 6 techniques he uses himself. The first example I tested worked with profitable sales the very same day. Other techniques require longer to test than I have time to devote; I'm pretty confident they should work too - but some effort is required.

One gimmick is an instant market cliché already - too crass for my taste, but it does work.

Sloppy copy editing was a minor irritant, but APX is well worth a read for the ideas.

DAY JOB KILLER ("DJK")

Sequel to Affiliate Project X (APX)

The sequel to "APX" takes us beyond Clickbank (info products for the IM niche) into many other applications of Affiliate Marketing (vertical "niche" markets, CPA networks, etc).

Chris turns the page to reveal how and why "the money is in the list" - i.e. "customer value" (the most important single variable in Marketing) - and how to increase it.

APX taught how to quickly sell Clickbank products at a profit, despite high and rising CPC ad costs.

DJK teaches:

a) how to extend APX techniques to wider markets beyond Clickbank and

b) how to build and milk a customer list to multiply your "initial sale" profits 10, 100 or 1000 fold. In brief, "the money is in the back-end".

DJK is better written than APX and, although less dramatic, teaches concepts even more important to building your long term profitability.

The hype surrounding the DJK launch was a model of "guru" fuelled web hysteria - which shot DJK into the marketing stratosphere overnight. Ironically, despite the hype, this is a book to mull over at leisure and apply for the long term.

If you are one of the 10% that got past the first IM hurdle, this is good, practical advice on how to get to the next level again (the 1%) - where awaits income better than your day-job.

PS There are further levels again (0.1% etc) - but I'm hardly likely to reveal them here for free.
Or am I?

Kudos to Sherry Tingley <squidoo@global-home-business.com> who sent a most thoughtful and well researched review. She tactfully reminds that there are few searches on this keyword - i.e. great article on a subject nobody cares about! CLANG!!
Oh well, back to Keyword Elite...
    Thanks again Sherry.
