You Want Reading that Includes Submarines, Classic Cars, Fast Boats, Ocean Adventures?

Clive Cussler's books have it all! Fast reading, fun reading, and a thrill on every page. It's fun to occasionally find a character in his books named "Clive Cussler"--it's also fun to participate in the adventures of Dirk Pitt, his main character.  Cussler's writing is vivid--easy to see in your mind.

One of his recent books, "The Chase" (available below) features a different angle that involves the Wild, Wild West at the turn of the century (1900's, that is)--including Montana (including FLATHEAD LAKE!) and Trains!

If you start one of these books, remember to reserve some weekend time to get through it. Once you've started one of his novels, you won't want to put it down!

I've tried to show as many of Clive Cussler's novels here... once you visit the eBay or Amazon sites, you will find many others there!

Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt on the Silver Screen! -- Sahara!

At least one of Clive Cussler's books has been made into a movie--and that's Sahara. In this movie, Cussler's main character Dirk Pitt (played by Matthew McConaughey) goes on an African side-trip up a river to the deserts of Mali to find a lost American Civil War iron-clad battleship known as the "Ship of Death" while helping a UN doctor (played by Penelope Cruz) who has been terrorized by a ruthless dictator. William H. Macy stars as Admiral Jim Sandecker and Rainn Wilson stars as Pitt's sidekick, Rudi Gunn. The story sort of follows the book, but as with all novels-turned-into-movies, the movie takes a few turns that deviate from the book.

Living on Guam is what now "defines" me.  It was such a dramatic difference in my life and outlook on things that there's no way I'd be the same...
