Since Ancient Times...

Cobalt glass has been manufactured since at least Roman times. Bottles and glass beads of this color have been found dating from the 1st Century AD.

2000 years later, it is still one of the most popular types/colors of glass used for decorative purposes. Cobalt glass catches and reflects light in a stunning display.

This page showcases some options for cobalt glass products that bring a colorful elegance to any home.

I love cobalt glass! It looks especially nice displayed where the sun shines on it. Sunflower yellow is a great color to compliment cobalt. Great lens!

Blue is my favorite color, Tammy. My mom loved blue cobalt and I now have a lot of her little blue bottles, which I use for wildflowers. Thanks for reminding me of why I love this glass.

I'm going to be publishing my "Crazy About Blue" lens soon, and am linking to this lens. It's a perfect complement to my theme. Thank you.

I did not know it was a special mineral. How extra special is that. I have one blue glass like the one in your intro. I call it a goblet. DH made fun of me when I bought it because I only bought one. I feel the urge to take it out now...

I can only say, "WOW!" This is a great lens! It covers all of the different types of cobalt glass, and its uses; and it has more resources than I knew existed. I can only hope to do as well with my Blue Cobalt Glass blog. Great work!
