Are you a lover of good coffee! If so, you probably know all about coffee, but if not maybe this will entice you to try it! I have been a coffee drinker for many, many years. I started pretty young! At first I could drink most brands of coffee and it kind of all tasted the same but over the years after trying many types and brands of coffee, my taste changed! For about the last seven years I've been hooked on Starbucks coffee, dark french roast! We buy the bags of beans and grind it up fresh every couple of days! I probably drink about 3 to 4 cups a day! I love that first morning cup of coffee, the fresh aroma when you open a new bag of coffee beans. I will share different products, tips and information on coffee in this lens! Hope you enjoy it!

Coffee can be very addictive as all coffee drinkers know! I love opening up the bag and that first aroma of coffee beans comes waffling out! Coffee comes in many flavours, one has to experiment to find the blend that you like! I prefer the dark roast over medium or flavoured myself! It seems to be an aquired taste for a lot of people! Coffee can be that little kick or pick me up that you need in the morning or in the middle of your day to get you moving!

A Little History of Coffee

Coffee goes back to around the 15th century, perhaps even earlier. It was discovered in Ethiopia, Africa. The story goes that a goat herder was amazed and puzzled at the way his herd of goats were behaving after they had chewed on coffee berries. They were extemely active and jumping all around with more energy then normal. It was said that slaves also ate the flesh of the berries! Thus, coffee berries came to be a crop that was much sought after! At first, the Arabs tried to keep it just a crop of Africa but other countries soon heard of it and began to seek it out! Holland was the next place to become a grower of coffee!
