HERE'S WHAT I THINK

Coffee vs. Tea

Which is better for your health? Coffee or Tea? Coffee has been maligned in the news for all kinds of maladies but coffee houses still flourish all over the globe. Tea, its weaker milder cousin, has been getting all the raves. Duke it out for your hero! Personally, give me a steaming cup of joe with International Delight's Mudslide creamer any day

The Beauty of Beverages

Both coffee and tea have their own, unique benefits. Coffee, also known as joe, java, mocha, latte, espresso, and a host of other names, evokes long, fireside chats, afternoons at a Parisian sidewalk cafe, and the ever-present carafes of steaming liquid served at iconic American breakfast houses.

Tea, on the other hand, conjures up visions of ladies in London with their crumpets and scones, or formal Japanese geishas tipping Oriental pots of steaming elixir into handle-less cups, bowing properly before sipping the amber potion.

Yes, both beverages have long histories, and many people swear by the benefits of one or the other. But really, in the long run, it doesn't matter what you quaff, as long as you do quaff. Both tea and coffee are made for lovers.

Coffee is winning! Any Brits or other tea lovers want to weigh in on their drink of choice?

mbrownauthor says:

Coffee for sure!

cwilson says:

I guess I am weird, I like both of them (except I think that they are both terrible iced) If I had to choose I would say Coffee by a nose

rms says:

hmmmmm, this was a tough one. I love my coffee in the morning, but I drink mostly iced tea the rest of the day. I'm going with the coffee because I really need it to get me going in the morning.

Tea for Me!

BuildABetterMouseTrip says:

Coffee? Yuck! We drink enough iced tea to float a boat and a little hot tea from time to time too.

RedSportNiac says:

I enjoy both and usually drink them alternately. Very likely I will go with tea.

garyr_h says:

Tea all the way! There just seems to be more choices. Besides, who doesn't love a nice cup of black tea with a spoonful of honey and a dash of milk?
