Wrestling is a blend of power distance & endurance. It's important to be able to utilize the three different levels of energy system by a wrestler. A wrestler needs to be careful on his nutritional intake along with balancing the three energy levels. The wrestler should be careful about the caloric intake to suit in all season. One needs to cut on calories to be fast & swift. But an increase in calories will only result in building your strength. So accordingly you need to settle on you fitness goal.
The entire process of training for wrestling can strenuous and intensive. It requires a detailed workout on one's anaerobic environment, where one is struggling for air. The muscle develops under the extreme pressure. The main objective in wrestling is to make sure that one has a rapid growth. This is why we find that wrestlers are well trained athletes. They are trained systematically dealing with every muscle group.
Over the span of time wrestling has proved that it is for the mentally and physically strong people. It is a kind of sport that demands discipline. The main purpose of the sport is to create a short but strong blow. The ability to create an offensive blow towards the opponent is the main task & then defends from such blows. This sport demands many skills in anaerobic endurance & flexibility to protect from any explosive shots.
