Commission Payload claims you can earn a living with CPA marketing.  Is it really true?  I've been up to my neck in this for over 9 months and want to share what I learned with you.  Hi, Jeff here in Atlanta, GA with a review and insight into the new course called "Commission Payload".  I want to let you in on the 3 things that got me over the hump and making a big profit with CPA marketing.  At the time, my financial picture was pretty bleak…even scary.  If something didn't change soon, I was headed for disaster.

First things first.  This is a course about CPA marketing.  This is not a marketing course for accountants!  CPA stands for "Cost Per Acquisition".  CPA networks get advertisers to use their network of affiliates (that would be you and me) to generate leads and sell products.  If you see an ad for a Free $1,000 Walmart Gift Card, ringtones, Bowflex or just about any other product, it is probably being advertised by a CPA affiliate.

When I started, I took a course where a student spent 20 hours a day for 15 days getting everything up and running.  He spent about $25K on his credit card paying for ads with Google Adwords, but made about $45K in sales.  Nothing wrong with that!  His problem was that he had to wait for his check to pay off his maxed-out credit card, so he was in a holding pattern for about 30 days.  30 days to wait for a $20K check?  I could do it, as long as I could still pay my rent and eat in the mean time!  Needless to say, I was pretty fired up about CPA marketing, and I learned one of the 3 things that propelled me to success:  focus.  I was so inspired that I unsubscribed from all the lists I was on that sent me the daily promises of internet riches, and focused on only 1 thing, CPA marketing.

It took me a bit longer to get started because I could not devote so much time to it, and I learned from his cash flow problem, but the answer to the question "can you really earn a living with CPA marketing" is "Yes", followed by a big BUT, because you better know what you are doing or you will lose money and end up very frustrated, like I did. You will be playing with the big boys in this field, so get some training before you jump in.

With so many ads out there, somebody must be making some money (besides Google) right? On the other hand, it is a very competitive market. To get your ads shown, you will need to either out bid other advertisers (a costly gamble for a newbie) or discover better ways to get your ads in front of targeted traffic for a low enough price to make a profit.

The top guns in CPA marketing claim to make over $100K per month. Is that true? I don't doubt it, but you may not achieve those results from your home office.  I can tell you I have not made even half of that in one month because I simply can't buy that much advertising (yet).  Here is a little secret:  that kind of campaign is running on very sophisticated software that is highly automated and optimized. The surprising thing is you can access the very same software. A number of companies offer it, they don't charge a lot for it, but almost nobody will tell you who they are or how to get set up with them. To buy the software yourself will run about $250,000, but to just run a campaign on it is really dirt cheap. You just pay for your ads plus a little extra.  If your Adwords account has been slapped one too many times (been there, done that) this is an excellent alternative and you can have a monthly budget as small as $500.  

Very few marketers make $100K a month, but if you need "replace your job" income of say $10K per month... that is something you certainly can achieve.   BUT (another big but) it takes time and effort to put all the pieces in place the right way.  That is the second thing:  time x effort = work.  This takes work.  It ain't rocket science, and it beats digging ditches or answering to "the man", but it still takes work.  You must apply yourself.  If you do, you can get the results you always dreamed about.

Remember, you will need to stop checking out every new product launch that lands in your email inbox, ignore every new "free unlimited traffic" claim and stay focused.  Unsubscribe from all your lists...today.

Stay with it for at least 8 weeks. You may make money is the first few days, but it may take some time to get everything tweaked and working the way you want it to.  That is the last thing: determination or "stick-to-it-iveness". If something gets in your way, find a way over, around or under it.  Try forums, Google the problem, tech support from Commission Payload, just find a way to git 'er done as they say 'round these parts.  Don't know how to do some simple HTML?  Tthe answer is a Google away.

Those are the three things:  focus, work, determination.  It wasn't some neat technical skill I learned (although I've learned quite a few), it was not a piece of software (although I use some cool software), and I was not learning web page design, HTML, php or anything else.  It's like anything else in life, and it's the wonderful thing about this niche:  all the answers are literally at your fingertips.  So let's use those fingers to make some money.
