Toolbars seem to be popping up everywhere you look lately, no matter where you go on the web, there's sure to be a toolbar offered. But what about if you want to make your own? For free? That's where Conduit comes in.

And if you already have a Conduit toolbar? Feel free to leave your link in the directory, just be sure your toolbar content is rated G.

What Makes Conduit Toolbars So Unique?

Besides being free, and easy to use, you have a wide range of options. Want to make your own search engines for different sites? You can. Want to limit searches to specific sites (IE. only sites about Squidoo!)? You can. Want e-mail notification, a radio, pop-up blockers, chat rooms, drop-down menus, RSS, podcasts, local to each user weather, games, or the ability to create your own gadgets? You can.

They even have an opt-in program that pays you for each user that downloads your toolbar. And if all that wasn't enough, once you have the toolbar, any Conduit toolbar, when you go to a page that has a Conduit toolbar for download, you get a small pop-up asking if you'd like to add that toolbar to your rotation. You can have as many toolbars as you wish, and they all live in the same slot on your browser. Want a shopping toolbar and one for a gaming site? Switch which one you want to use with the click of a button, and if you're listening to a song on the radio player, you don't lose it, it stays playing on the new toolbar.
