If you let enough people know, the company will eventually go out of business. Negative advertising by consumers can be 100 times times more effective than the company's positive advertising. Smart companies know this. They will want to make things right and/or give you a full refund to keep you from telling the world.

How to Fight Back
It's not enough to grumble to all your friends. Tell the company a long list of places where you will post or send complaints if it does not make things right or give you a full refund. In addition to posting your complaint here, you can and should post complaints at the websites below. Moreover, you can post or send complaints to your bank, the state attorney general, Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Federal Trade Commission, and US Postal Inspector, etc.

How to Make Your Posted Complaints More Effective
Your complaints would be more effective if they can be found on the first or second page of Google, Yahoo, and other search engines by anybody searching for information about the company. Below are some suggestions to achieve this objective.
Make a lens (ie. a web page) about how the organization defrauded, duped, ripped off, scammed, or screwed you at squidoo.com containing links to the websites (ie. the above list) where you have posted complaints. Web pages at squidoo.com get high rankings with Google and other search engines, all things being equal.
Send the website address of your lens in emails to all of your friends and associates.
Make links between your lens and other lenses (including this one) at squidoo.com by posting feedback, putting on lensroll, joining groups, and putting on favorite list.
Make links pointing to your lens at squidoo.com by listing your website address at "social bookmarking" websites (see list below). Click here for a free service that will speed up this process.
Make links to other websites that are related to your complaint.

- Beware of Union Workers Credit Union "credit card". It's not a general credit card. There are many complaints against them.
