Convict Conditioning: Master Your Body Weight And Achieve Unparalleled Functional Strength

Exercise is popular these days, and there is no shortage of exercise equipment and accessories for sale. Whether it is a large Globo-Gym, a 24 hour access exercise boutique, a yoga studio or an infomercial on television the evidence that the fitness industry is growing is pretty apparent. And yet people still find themselves wondering how they can get fit.

Without fail, every few years or so, a new trend begins in the fitness world and everyone you know seems to be doing it. After a period of success and growth, it seems to falter and fade out. So what do you do when your trend peters out? Stop exercising? Do you revert back to older techniques? Or do you look for a program that is sure to be around for the rest of your life? Something that is proven, transportable, challenging and has enough variety to keep your interest over time. Selecting a program that will help provide results over the long term and refrains from being "trendy" will serve you far better than any other alternative.

Fancy Gyms and Shiny Machines Don't Make You Fit

Civilizations have always worked to build up muscle. Think about ancient Greece and Rome. They certainly didn't have any fancy equipment to work out on. They had nothing like that. So you can see that the size of the gym and the bells and whistles on the machines have nothing to do with how fit you will be. Absolutely none. So, then why are these gyms and fitness centers enjoying such popularity and growth? Well, for one thing the marketing plays a role. They are also convenient. Also, one cannot forget the social aspect offered by these locations. However, in the end, not one of these aspects help you tone your body and achieve that physical state you've always wanted. The only way to get in shape is to work at it.

As such, a less attractive gym such as a "hole in the wall", "warehouse" or "underground" gym may give you a better workout than any other location. And by this I simply mean that the gym is there for people to exercise in; that is the sole function of the business. That's all there is to it. All meat and no fat. Even if the doesn't have all the equipment you would like, you can still work out and get in better shape. Because all you really need to work out is your own body - and you always have that with you.

You Already Own The Best Machine Ever Invented

We already own the best workout machine that has ever existed, and we got it for free. Our bodies are simply incredible. The human machine. An incredible collection of cells and molecules and muscles that is under our command. Our bodies act as we tell them to, whenever and however we tell it to - which cannot be said for many other things in life!

However, we deal so much abuse and damage to our body. We do take it for granted and then underestimate what we have. We do not eat right, exercise properly, and overall neglect our state of health, and wonder why we feel sore or injured after playing sports or doing strenuous physical activities. It's because we don't exercise enough in the right ways and take care of ourselves.

The Human Body: The Only Piece of Equipment You Will Need

What do you do when you need to screw something together and you don't have a screwdriver? You improvise. Instead of lamenting what you don't have, you make do with the resources available to you. You make something work or invent a way to get it screwed together. Some of the best improvisers were people who used to be in prison, you know, convicts. Why? Because they had nothing but time and a very small amount of resources to make something happen. It really should not come as a surprise that they are so inventive and creative.

They had to invent ways to workout in their cells. For example, if the facility was in lock-down, no one would be able to have access to free weights. They had to improvise and use what they had available to workout. Typically, the only tool they had access to was their body. As such, the used their body as resistance weight and achieved immense results.

Body Weight Exercises: A Single Minute To Learn, A Lifetime to Master

You should strongly consider the exercise program Convict Conditioning. Don't let the convict/prison angle bother you. And the results are what matters. This book provides you with the solid, reliable information that you need in order to master this program. The book discusses in detail why body weight exercises are ideal for toning your body and developing that appearance you've always wanted. One of the best maxims about this entire program is you don't need to buy any additional equipment, as you have everything you need already.

Even if your goal is to only to perform 5 push ups and 1 pull up, you will get valuable information to help you achieve that goal. Make no doubt about it though, certain body weight exercises can be extremely difficult. Nevertheless, there shouldn't be anything that you cannot do. Convict Conditioning narrows the list down to six exercises that it focuses on. The "Big Six" are the push up and pull up, squat, bridging, leg raise and handstand push ups. If you can't do these right now, that is okay. There are some fantastic progressions in the book that you follow to build up strength so you can.

Never Put Yourself In Danger By Being Too Weak

You might find yourself out of luck in an emergency if you find that you can't do even one single push up. If you can't do a pull up then you could potentially be putting your life in the hands of someone else. But you can correct this situation. Convict Conditioning delivers an enormous amount of information on how you can start using your body to increase your strength and your health. Do not make the mistake of discarding the book due to the name. It is not that I feel prison is glamorous or anything. Simply give the program a fair chance, read the information, implement it into your own life, and see what a difference it can really make.
