About fifteen years ago cross stitch patterns seemed to fall into three categories: nature scenes, teddy bears and teddy bears with hearts.

But now with designs using Banksy images, books featuring Ed Hardy patterns and everything from the planets to a stack of cats being used for inspiration, cross stitch is definitely proving its cool.
