My Journey With Cracked Corners of The Mouth
Here's how it is usually discovered, one day you notice something like a paper cut in the corner of your mouth? Then, it gets a little bigger and more irritated? Then, you laugh, and it splits even wider?Typically, that's what happens at the onset of Angular Cheilitis, and that's exactly what happened to me. No matter how I tried, I just couldn't get those crusty cracks in the my mouth corners to heal.
My journey with cracked corners of the mouth began over three years ago. Yes, unbelievably, I battled splits in the corners of my mouth for three, long, miserable years. The cracks would reopen every time I laughed, talked, smiled, or ate.
Believe me, I tried everything that anyone recommended to get rid of the embarrassing and miserable blight on my mouth corners. Really, I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found the angular cheilitis cure, the one that works in only 3 hours, and the one that returns your skin to normal overnight.
Causes Of Cracked Corners Of The Mouth
Angular Cheilitis or cracked corners of the mouth can be caused by several different things, but the most common cause is saliva build up at the corners of the mouth. Moisture can accumulate in the corners of the mouth for several reasons:1. Over exposure to sun and wind. Your lips get dry, and, then, unthinkingly, you start licking them to make them feel better. This persistent licking keeps the corners of your mouth continually warm and moist providing a favorable environment for the Candida fungus to grow. This growing fungus results in Angular Chelitis.
2. Sleep drooling can also result in cracked corner of the mouth.
3. Poor fitting dentures in the elderly, When dentures don't fit properly, it causes little folds to form in the mouth corners. These folds trap and hold saliva, and again you have the perfect condition for the fungus to grow.
4. Vitamin deficiencies (B2, B3, B6, and B12).
5. Certain forms of malnutrition can also cause red, crusty splits in the mouth corners
