Scary Corn Fields

A Labyrinth Adventure

Photo Courtesy of http://freephotobank.orgImagine the darkness all around,
scarecrows hang without a sound.
Corn stalks a wall at twelve feet tall and that's not all!
Bats flying lowly, ever so slowly,
pumpkins line the narrow path. Carved Jack- O- Lanterns seem to laugh...

She rounds the corner for another dark pathway leading to the next opening. Anxious with shallow breathing, she slows her pace, holding her flashlight with a tight grip. She just has to find the others, but she is lost. Where have the others gone? Every turn looks identical in the halls of corn stalks. She shivers at the night as it closes in on her. She started yelling for help and out of nowhere, a farmer came to her rescue within minutes. Whew, she was relieved that he came to help. So if anyone experiences this fear, yell and someone will come to aid you fast!

Something Fun to do for Halloween

This is a typical scene from a visit to a haunted corn maze. It can be real frightening, but then, is that not the entire idea of visiting one? ;-P

Public wrath, love, and in between
