Cosmic Keychains and Magnets

Featuring Cosmic Art by Misticmedia on Zazzle

Cosmic keychains - doesn't that sound exciting? The keychains themselves are regular of course, it's the artwork on them that's cosmic. It seems that keychains are easy things to lose, so these are distinctive enough to be relatively easy to find in odd places!

I think you can never have too many refrigerator magnets! Even though we collect them from places we visit, it seems there's always room for more. And good ones are always a delightful new addition! So, how about some cosmic magnets?

This lens features cosmic keychains and refrigerator magnets from the Misticmedia Zazzle store - which features the cosmic art of Yuichi Tanabe (yes, he's my husband!).

Why Zazzle?

Zazzle.comZazzle is a Print on Demand company, which means they print each item as it is bought. Nobody has to keep a stock of products collecting dust while waiting for buyers.

They have a great selection of products including, but not at all limited to, magnets and keychains! Artists upload their artwork and then select which products they want to be made available. Then you can buy them!

The Misticmedia Zazzle store has an amazing collection of cosmic art. Here I'm just featuring the keychains and magnets.

Magnets

You can never have too many magnets on your refrigerator!

We often buy a magnet for our refrigerator. They make great souvenirs of places you visit, easy to bring home since they're pretty small, and useful too. It seems no matter how many magnets we have I could always use another one.

These Zazzle magnets are really great. They are shiny and sturdy. Quite small (2 inches square) but strong enough to hold up all the usual pieces of paper that need to be attached to the fridge. I bought 2 last month, and am ready to buy more! They also come in round versions (1, 2, or 3 inches in diameter) - maybe I'll be buying them next.

Moai

On the small planet

Moai magnet

I just love these Moai! Like the original Moai on Easter Island, these cosmic Moai on their little planet are seriously waiting and watching - we just don't know what they are waiting and watching for!

This was the first magnet to find a place on my refrigerator.

Cosmic Dance 3

Featuring Stonehenge

Cosmic Dance 3 magnet

Stonehenge is so amazing! With its giant megalithic stones and its connection to the sun and the solstices, how and why it was built remains a mystery. Here we have the "dancing worlds" of the Cosmic Dance series, enjoying the structure of Stonehenge like a stage for their performance.

Seven Dimensions

Geometry in space

Seven Dimensions magnet

I love these geometric shapes in various dimensions. There's even an Egyptian style pyramid! And some are almost falling off the "edge of the world" into yet another set of dimensions. Definitely expands the mind!

Torus

Torus magnet

Well I think this looks like a giant chocolate donut in the sand - maybe on some strange planet! Could work on my refrigerator - donuts, food, that's a connection for sure.

These "dancing worlds" seem to be on a very different planet! There's definitely something else going on with that giant "donut."

Journey to Find God

Journey to Find God magnet

Well, this is certainly cosmic! Traveling through space these symbols from different ages and cultures look like a journey to find something of cosmic proportions - humankind's efforts to find God. Or were they helped/hindered by aliens on the way!

I gave this one to my daughter - she loves this design.

Nessie

Loch Ness 1 magnet

So this is the one I want next - Nessie from Loch Ness in Scotland! Don't you just love the spotlight beaming down (is it from a UFO?) to reveal Nessie in the middle of the loch!

Or maybe this one, it's certainly cosmic with that galaxy swirling up there in the sky!

Girl Playing Flute

Girl Playing Flute magnet
Isn't she lovely?

Almost like an angel playing her flute with such a gorgeous background of blue ocean and blue sky.

And the flower in her hair matches the pink on the clouds in the sky!

Flute Angel

Flute Angel 1 magnet
This one really is an angel ready to play her flute - see, she has wings behind her shoulders?

She's obviously thinking about things, not perhaps our usual expectation of an angel. She's serious, and possibly sad. Interesting!

World of Child's Imagination

Our daughter was actually the model for this picture so it's a special favorite of mine!

It shows how the child's imagination extends into a world that is beyond that of most adults. Do we forget how to experience the world this way?

Android

This metallic android is quite a cosmic alien, and the planet he's studying is definitely alien! Where did those rocks and piles of dirt come from?

Planet Rising

Such a colorful world with the huge planet rising up above the landscape. Would you like to live on a world that is so blue and pink, even purple?

Cosmic Dance 4

This is part of the "Cosmic Dance" series where different worlds dance and bounce around - having fun, maybe!

Exploring the Coastline

This cute little UFO looks like it was dipped in chocolate! Busy exploring the coastline while "mother" waits offshore, what is going on inside?

Cosmic Music!

Flute

This is from the latest series of artworks - on music. This flute is sitting on a marble vase with gorgeous purple mountains in the background. Not sure if the mountains are purple reflected from the sky or the sky is reflecting the purple arising from the mountains - either way, I love it!

I love these designs - they are so cool! I remember admiring them on another of your lenses, though I don't think they were in these forms. Your husband's work is very unique and creative! Fived and faved :-)
