Knitted Cotton Baby Jacket

This great little jacket is knitted in 4 ply cotton. Knitted in one piece, it is very easy to make and is great for between seasons and for the warmer months. I've been making this jacket for many years, for my own five children, who are all grown up now. My first grandchild is expected in November, so I've taken out my knitting needles again. Australia's summer months are December, January and February, so I'll be making the smaller size for the new addition to the family.
I usually use the 4 ply cotton from Bendigo Woollen Mills in Victoria, as they have a great range of colours from pastels to brights, but any brand cotton would do.
