These are stories about an almost surprise New Year's Eve Concert!
These stories about about the people and the craziness that went on for this Almost Surprise New Year's Eve Concert, that included RV reservations for many people to stay in this RV park. I was Camping and my wife and I were the last to know about it!
The craziness that went on before, and Most Important, the craziness of our guests, that New Year's Eve night. Also, the "Hung Over" next day.
These stories leans toward a Mature Site, due to the illegal drugs that these people MUST have been smoking, to have all thse hilarious stories given birth to! I can't tell you for sure, they were doing anything illegal, BUT read on and you can make your own mind up!
At times, we thought we had left the planet Earth, or at least was stuck in the 1960's! We have met and dealt with people from all over the world, but nothing like these people!
I want to Thank each, because without them, there would be no stories, and it IS BASED ON ALL TRUE STORIES!! Changed a little, but not much! I hope you have as much fun reading these, as we did living them!
It was 1 day before New Year's Eve in Northern California.
My wife and I woke up at our normal times. All cozy in our small 5th wheel RV trailer. The size of less than 4 grown men, put end to end.
The temperature was trying to reach the mid 30's outside. I had our blinds open, in our trailer, to watch all the comings and going on.
The heater was going full blast and we were as toasty, warm and contented to stay in our paradise until the temperature was at a reasonable level outdoors.
Being the only Camp Host for this Fairgrounds RV Park, we have the first trailer space, when people drive in. Our living room, back window, overlooks the driveway.
If that does not ring a bell for people to know I am the Camp Host, there are 2 signs stating this fact.
One right below our window and another one a few feet away, along the road coming in.
A building, 1/2 the size of our trailer, sits next to our trailer, with all kinds of signs and information plastered all over it. Also bringing, "I am the Camp Host", to their attention.
So, you could say, our trailer, the little building and I, are the nerve central to this Campground/RV Park!
Everyone must come by our trailer and the little building, or in front of them.
Rarely does anyone passes by, without us seeing them. Unless we are asleep. But my wife and I sleep mostly, at different times.
With only about 3 hours that overlap each other sleep time, when someone is not watching.
Campers staying more than a couple of days, know we are watching and wave as they drive by our trailer, even if we are not visible.
Most campers, when leaving, stop by to say "Good bye". Some even invite us to their homes, no matter where they live.
All this, makes the RV Park, a very friendly and slow pace one.
Even the Fairground workers, wave as they drive by to do their trash pick ups, cleaning of the bathrooms and work around the RV Park.

Getting Used To RV's
Usually people need the 50 amps durning the summer when they run 2 air conditioners. Durning the winter, they can use adapters to go down to 30 amps. It works fine, unless you have too many things plugged in and use them at the same time.We had problems when we used our toaster with our heater running. "Pop", there went the breaker. Being a 4 slice toaster, we could only use 2 slices at a time!
So it is like being on "Green Acres" TV show. You could use certain things but not if others are plugged in and in use.
One morning a guy came over to our trailer and told us the electric was not working at his RV. I went over and checked the breakers, which had blown.
He had been at the park for a couple of weeks and had no problems before. I asked him what he did different this morning. The only thing we could tell was they had taken showers in the morning instead of at night.
I unplugged his rig and started to plug it into a differnt spot, but before I could get about 3 inches from the outlet it sparked and flicked that breaker.
I had him unplug and turn everything off inside and slowly turn and replug everything back on, after I reset the breaker.
When the hot water heater flicked on, the coffee maker and then his wife's hair dryer, the breaker blew again. Solved another one!
He told hs wife NOT to use the hair dryer when they were making coffee and heating up the hot water heater! He had his choice to either be in a big mud pond and have his 50 amps or to be at the 30 amps and watch what they plugged in.
But thinking these were the only type of problems going on in a RV Park is far from reality!
Read on to Many True Adventures we came upon, and that is only over a 3 day time! Look for more to follow!
