Failing to do this may disqualify you from you resume being considered. Reason being this is a test to see if you are following instructions as they will sometime list this requirement, also they could be checking if you have attention to detail skills?

Your goal should be to match up to 85% of the requirements in the job posting to your skills and abilities. You have to make the marriage of these skills and abilities to the job posting. If there are too many in the posting then try to match up the most critical skills that they are seeking. When the hiring manager looks at your Cover Letter For Resume, they will have their questions answered for them. This is powerful!

In the conclusion of your letter you want to thank them for taking the time to review your skills and abilities. You also want to express that you look forward to meeting with them at their earliest convenience to discuss the further possibilities with their organization.
