I am making this page because I love crafting with my children, and I am sure you do, too. I am always looking for ideas that are fun, easy, and inexpensive to make. I am always on the look out for the next great blog, or the next great site, or the next great store.
A little about me
I am the mother of three children. I have many hobbies, and one of them is crafting of all sorts and varieties. I love everything from paper crafts to ceramics. Everything in between, too. I hope to share ideas that you will find useful for you and your projects.
A blog worth reading!
I love it, and I write it. I hope it will become a truly interactive community with others contributing to posts with ideas for family craft nights. I look forward to sharing my experiences, and my ideas with all of you.

There are so many things to do in the world of crafting. Scrapbooking, ceramics, foam craft, needlepoint, canvas art, crochet, knitting - the list goes on and on, and on more.
Craft of the Week
This week's crafting idea
This week's craft is a fun decorating idea to either be done alone or with your children. Decorating, and personalizing, our Christmas stockings so that they are a reflection of ourselves. Its another easy one that can look as fancy, or simple, as we want.
What you need:
Plain stocking of any color (I suggest going to a dollar store for these)
Assorted embellishments: ribbon, buttons, glitter, glitter pens, puffy paints (best when used on felt style stockings, not so good on the furry style. It tends to come off those). Felt that you can cut into designs such as leaves, crosses, what ever you desire.
Glue that adheres to fabric, and that dries clear. If you are working with small children and wish to use hot glue, make sure you the adult do all the glue work.
Glitter pens in assorted colors.
Now, the process is very simple:
1. Write the name of the person the stocking is for on the top with the glitter pen or puffy paint. Wait for it to dry.
2. Decide on your design, you can lay things out and change them before you glue. Do not glue until you are sure that is what you want.
3. Glue all into place, let dry.
