Looking For Craft & Jewellery Tools. Then Look no Further
Hi I would like to introduce myself, although many of you already know me. My name is Sandie and my website is Magic Lady Crafts and I am a supplier of Craft & Bead Storage and Craft & Jewellery Supplies although we do have lots of others products from scrapbooking to card making with lots of ideas for both.
I have always been a keen crafter doing mainly cross stitch, scrapbooking and card making but as I have got older my eyes just cant cope with the cross stitch anymore. I have always wanted a small business of my own and about 5yrs ago my daughter had a baby but needed to go back to work after she had her little girl but didn't want to put her into a nursery. So I decided to become a stay at home Gran and look after her. Hence the birth of Magic Lady Crafts.

How to Get Started
Jewellery making should be lots of fun whether youmake it for yourself or for selling. There are so many ideas on the internet that can turn you into a great designer. There are lots of different projects and tutorials to get you started. Or if you are really clever you can design your own and create you own unique line of jewellery.
When you start jewellery making you must understand that although some of the designs on the internet look simple making one yourself. To look the same could take a few attempts so please do not be disheartened. As they say practice makes perfect. Please don't expect to make perfect professional looking jewellery straight away.
Basic Tools & Equipment
You can have all the creativity in the world but with out the basic tools it's hard to create anything. As you get more experienced there are more specialized tools to be bought but to start with I suggest you just buy the basics that way you will not overspend on items you might never need.Pliers obviously are the main tool needed for jewellery making and I have listed a few below and there functions to get you started. They come in many styles to do many jobs such as making loops to crimping and cutting.
To make professional looking jewellery a mixture of pliers are required. To start with just invest in the basics such as wire cutters, crimping pliers, bent nose pliers, flat nose pliers. A beading board, storage boxes and tidy trays are also a good idea but not always essential to start with.
A Guide to Jewellery Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Round Nose Pliers are used to give a professional finish to the jewellery. The round nose pliers have a finer end measuring 1 to 2 mm. the making it easier to turn wires into loops, make more perfect round loops, smaller loops and also to open and close jump rings. These pliers are also great for winding wire which is required in some designs. It is not advisable to use these pliers for holding or gripping wire since the plier can leave visible marks on the wire Buy Now £4.99

Thats brilliant, I have the biggest stash of beads and jewellery finding, I took up making earrings and pendants a couple of years ago but kind of got way laid but its so much fun and once you get the hang of it the possibilities are endless plus they are one of a kind, I always received wonderful compliments.
