The Croatian Language
The Croat language is a member of Slavic family of languages. It is written in the Roman alphabet. Serbian is written in a modified form of the Cyrillic alphabet and has significant syntactical and morphological differences to Croatian.

The population of Croatia is 4,666,000. Croatians make up around 80 percent of the population. Croatian is spoken mainly in Croatia, but is also spoken in some small enclaves in Serbia as well as Austria.
