Secrets and Powers of Crystals and Gemstones
I love everything about crystals and gemstones but I'm especially interested in their folklore, legends and history.
Whenever I'm buying a new crystal or gem I always take into account how many facets it has, what colour it is and the meaning of the stone and the colour.
There's just so much more to choosing a crystal or gemstone so I wrote a full colour 64 page ebook and decided to give it away for free because I want everyone, that's interested, to be able to have this information at their finger tips.
Crystals and gemstone power used to be viewed as some sort of new age gimmick but they've been used for centuries and really never lost their popularity. Fair enough, a lot of people don't choose their gemstones for anything other than 'it looks fantastic' but everyone loves sparkling gemstones! Maybe if people realised the influence a particular gemstone might have then they'd choose a bit more carefully.

Why Do Crystal and Gemstones Have Power?
There are many theories but one of the most popular is that all crystals have the capacity to absorb energies, emotions and knowledge.The variety of their composition means that each type absorbs different powers and these powers are then naturally imparted to the user or wearer.

Choosing Crystals and Gemstones
Actually they'll probably choose you. They often pop into your life in mysterious and magical ways. Crystals and gemstones respond to though and feelings so take your time in looking at them and just see if any jump out or speak to you.Just look, don't touch and see if you're repeatedly drawn back to looking at the same one. Try not to let logic decide for you - biggest isn't always best! Let your intuition guide you and trust that feeling.

Try placing crystals around your garden, or in potted plants, and see how much more beautiful and bright your plants bloom and grow. To specicially energise a garden try placing a crystal in each corner and one in the centre. This creates a type of energy similar to pyramid energy.Crystals and tools to work with and help to create a harmonious environment but they can only assist and amplify what we can do with our minds, energies and willpower.
Crystals are an integral part of the earth and the earth and its inhabitants are crying out for love and attention. I believe the heart chakra, of the earth, is now opening and it's time to listen with our hearts rather than our heads.
It's a time to trust and understand our feelings and intuition rather than logic. Crystals can help us reach this new point of balance. They are here to wake us up and remind us of whom we really are.

Agate
Competition, Eloquence, Fevers, Gums and Circulation.I love Agate and have ornamental slices on display throughout my home. It looks stunning but as my circulation isn't too great, it's beneficial to my health too.

Agate Blue Lace
Blue Lace Agate is a gentle, calming stone that helps to lessen feelings of anger, irritation and nervousness.It's also great for increasing intuition, inspiration and communication. I have a small Blue Lace Agate tumblestone that I keep on my desk and if I'm at a loss of what to write next I often find myself gently moving the stone around in my hand, without even consciously having picked it up.
It's the same when I'm making a phone call, I find myself holding the Blue Lace Agate, which is probably because it's also great for speaking and smooth discussion. (I have a lot of blue in my office area but that's a whole other lens!)
As with all agates, Blue lace agate also has wonderful protective energies.
Blue Lace Agate is used to aid arthritis, inflammations, headaches, digestive issues, growth, fever and composure.
There are some stunning jewellery pieces with Blue Lace Agate and I have a pendant that I often wear to meetings. It helps my speech, is protective and keeps any negative vibes in check! It's amazing to watch the other people in the meeting - their eyes are constantly drawn to the pendant and I'm absolutely positive that it's helped me seal many deals.

Facets

Many years ago I suppose it really was a 'Secret' as I definitely wasn't encouraged to speak about it to others. As a child I frequently and openly spoke about it but soon realised that it was best to keep quiet as most people thought I was a nutter! Funny how so many people use it and speak openly about it now.
