After purchasing 3 other coffee makers, the 4th one is the charm! This coffee maker makes great tasting coffee. I never knew there was a difference -- it's worth spending a few more dollars on. It also has all of the features I was looking for such as: adjustable warming plate, 1-4 cup selection, water filter, programmable. It is a rather tall machine, but certainly not a problem as it fits fine underneathe most cabinets. Als, the carafe is well-made and has a spout that pours nicely without spilling. No complaints about this one!
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this coffeemaker. I wanted a coffemaker that made good tasting coffee, one that would keep our coffee hot and was easy to use and clean and that I could program to go on in the morning. I got all of that including a very handsome design and very easy to use coffeemaker. My two or three previous coffeemakers were farberware electric coffeepots, the last one was a 12 cup automatic programmable one. Farberware pots always make excellent tasting coffee but the last one I owned had to be returned twice because the programmable feature broke and the top of the perculator broke. So I was ready for a change. The area where you pour the water is not too small like some reviews said, after all it is a coffeemaker not a swimming pool, you just poor the water in slowly and then put in the filter with your coffee and all will be fine. We just love our new pot and I hope it will last for years to come.
