Custom Squidoo Lens Creation
Have you been wanting to get in on this Squidoo thing but weren't sure where to begin? Let me help you!
I'm a longtime Squidoo lensmaster and well known in SquidU. Learn a little about my experience below, and take a look at some of my lenses to see if you like my work.
Contents at a Glance
My Qualifications
If this is all Greek to you, you can learn a little more about each of these on my Lensography
Just know that I've been doing this for a long time with some pretty great results. ;)
-
I've been an active lensmaster on Squidoo for 5 years. I currently have 282 lenses of my own. All of them are in this account. I have not bought any of these lenses from anyone else, but have adopted a few from other lensmasters.
-
One of my lenses has reached an overall lensrank of #1 (the top lens on Squidoo), another has reached #2, and two more have reached #3.
-
I've had 12 lenses in the Top 100 overall. In total they have spent over 1,425 days there.
The longest stay was for 407 days. Many have been #1 within their specific category.
-
I've had 7 LOTDs (Lens of the Day).
-
I have 15 Purple Star lenses.
-
I've made lenses for the Squidoo Answer Deck.
-
I became a member of the first team of SquidAngels on Squidoo April 30, 2007, and have had my wings most of the time since. I'm currently the neighborhood Angel for Popular Themed Toys, and Family Friendly Vacations.
-
I became a Giant Squid on September 4, 2007. That was the first time Giants were chosen. I joined the Giant Squids 100 Club October 7, 2008.
-
On August 13, 2008 I was chosen as one of the first 3 Giant Squid Greeters.
I was able to volunteer my time for 6 straight months. :)
My Rate
I don't have one. Each lens will be different.
Each client will be different.
Each lens will have it's own value.
Tell me what you think the lens you want is worth.
I encourage you to look at other lens building services and shop around. Let me know what you have found. I've seen some charging what I think is an outrageous amount, and that is one of the reasons I didn't start this service sooner. I felt like people were being taken advantage of and did not want to be a part of that. But then I thought...hey, I can do this my own way. :)
My Protocol
-
1I will work with only one client at a time so you have my undivided lens building attention. I will have a two-way discussion with you through email until you are happy with the result before moving on to the next client.
-
2I will not work on lenses that are in direct competition with my own. I want to give you my best work, and not have the urge to do any less for the sake of my personal lenses. Hey, I'm human...and I'm honest.
-
3If I am uncomfortable with a topic I will let you know right away that it's not something I can work on.
-
4Payment will be through PayPal.
-
5I will create the lens in my account and transfer it to you once it's finished.
My Work
No Empty Promises
I'd love to say "I will guarantee your lens will be in the top pay tier!" or "You will get listed on the first page of Google results!" But I can't.
I'm not going to make promises like I've seen some others offer. No one can predict how your lens will do. That depends on your topic, on what people are looking for at the time, how much upkeep you will put into the lens...and a bit of luck.
What I can do is start you off in the right direction with a nice looking, well put together lens, and a little guidance for your future as a lensmaster.

Some Lenses I've Made For Others
(When looking at lenses remember that I have no control over them once they are transferred to another lensmaster.)
An Added Bonus
If you have any images you want to include I can get them looking their best, and make sure they are the proper size to fit their module correctly. I can also create small custom graphics and banners for your use.
HubPages & Wizzley
In addition to Squidoo Lenses I can also build pages on Wizzley or HubPages for you. Unlike Squidoo, for those sites I'd have to log in under your account to work on them.

- I think you've clarified the details for anyone wanting a lens made. I thought I'd specialize in making tribute lenses for people, but am just getting set up with it.

- Hi Christene, you are an inspiration. I thought of just stopping by and thanking you for giving me an idea. Guess what? I just sold a lens creation service at eBay and getting started with it. Thanks so much.
Cheers Meredith

- This is interesting Christene, and very helpful to me as I look at some day making lenses for others. Sounds like fun and a great way to earn some extra cash.
Best wishes to you,
Susie

- Christene, how has your business been? I've heard another squid angel/giant squid say that they have made over 500 lenses for other lensmasters. Just thought that sounded, well rather incredible.

- I just had Christene create a lens for me and it was fantastic! She worked quickly, customized it to my needs and kept me aware of her work every step of the way. I would recommend her services to anyone looking to get a new high-quality lens. Thanks Christene!

- I found this lens through the SquidU forums, and it's interesting, but it'd be great if you could give a range of prices. Are we talking 5 bucks a lens, or 50? I know your time is valuable, and I wish you good luck w/ your marketing of this service. It's a great idea, and I'm certainly interested if you want to send along a little info.
