DMEDLEY - THE LENSOGRAPHY
Ranked #16,872 in Hobbies, Games & Toys, #271,372 overall
Who Is DMedley ?
I was born in the mountains of Oregon in the middle of the 20th century. As a young man living in a world that had little of the physical distractions of life, I learned at an early age to use my imagination.
Reading and imagination were my main tools for enjoyment. In later years this proved to be a valuable asset as well as a curse. I developed a mind that never seemed to be satisfied and always searching for something new and exciting.

DMEDLEY SPEAKS OUT ABOUT SQUIDOO
What is your fasination with squidoo?
A pretty good question and one that I often ask myself. I found Squidoo by accident and soon realized that it was a great forum for me. I have had a desire to be a writer since I was very young. That desire just sort of hung around in the back of my head some place without ever taking root.
I suppose the reason for having a desire and not doing anything with it was the same for me as thousands of other people.
First "I did not believe I had the talent for writing."
Second "I did not feel I had anything to say that was worth anyone reading"
Seth Godin and Squidoo convinced me to "Just do it" and not worry about perfection. After all as the old saying goes "The first step is the hardest".
Now I have reached a point in time that if I am not writing a Blog post, creating a Squidoo Lens or writing an article first thing each morning, I feel like something is wrong.

- lovely life - well lived. Thanks for sharing. I raised my kids without TV during grade school, and they are much more interesting people than they would have been otherwise.
