DVD Studio Pro

Apple's DVD Studio Pro is used to create Digital Versatile Discs(DVD). The DVD format is a digital media format that allows you to store many Gigabytes (GB) of information on a single disc. Creating Video DVDS requires the use of media in the DVD - R Format which is a one-time write format and can hold up to 4.7 GB of Data on one side of a recordable disc. Newer Dual-layer discs can now hold up to 9.6 GB of Data and utilize both sides of the disc. Standard DVD Discs can hold up to 120 minutes of video and audio footage but that is if you do not add graphic intensive menus and sub-menus.

DVD Studio Pro is no longer available as a separate Product but is now bundled with Final Cut Studio.
