Who do you trust, you or your Lead Company to generate leads?

Buying leads can be a very risky part of your business. With that being said you MUST have leads otherwise known as prospects or what we like to call them is "potential business partners".

Listen : There are a million ways to get leads like

* Buy them from a lead company. (This is the highest risk ) It reminds me of a quote from the "Forest Gump" movie. it's like the box of chocolates "you never know what your going to get". There are some very good lead providers out there. I must warn you though, if you want great leads you will pay a premium price.

* Traffic Exchanges. (next to useless) Everybody is trying to promote many of the exact same thing you are. Every once in a while you will get someone to your website, but they're as broke as you are and they already read and heard all the hype .

* Ezine Advertising. (Some potential) This does cost money and if you are not very good at Head line and ad copy you can waste alot of money.

* Guaranteed Pre-enrollees. (Most of these are ripoffs) A lot of the websites that sell you these are paying people 50 cents to $1 or more to pre-enroll in what ever company shows up. Think about it if you got $2 to pre-enroll and you did that 100 times a day, that's pretty good money for playing on your computer.

* Safelist. (What a laugh) Did you know the marketers that use safelist prey on the suckers that don't have an email delete progam. These are out there especially if you belong to 100's of safelist. You get 1000's of emails a day from these and the only way to keep your email box from reaching its limit is to have one of these delete email programs. Which means no one is really reading your ads in your emails. Every once in a while a newbie who is trying to read all these emails will click on your link. (highly unlikely but possible) I know it's sad but I learned the hard way.

*Classified ads. (Not a lot of people read these) Do your own test if you advertise using these. Be sure to have a tracking code so you can see how many of these are clicked on. You might be surprised (or not).

The point being, if you do not know what you are doing you are wasting precious time and money (95% of marketers are).

Those are just a few examples of on line marketing resources. Now all of the above can be quite effective if you know how to use them properly to generate leads. Now LISTEN to that last sentence I said GENERATE LEADS not recruit or sell something.

Remember there are thousands upon thousands of GOOD, BAD and UGLY money making opportunities that are vying for the same thing you are. They want you in their program and you want them in yours.

Remember too there are as many people trying to sell you "HOW TO" information and SYSTEMS to automate and allow you to make money in your sleep. (I always heard it "Those who snooze will loose"). And guess what they all come in the same wrapper. Does this sound familiar "SECRETS FINALLY REVEALED" (I hate that).

Now the other side of the story. What if you were able to generate your own leads that really want to talk to you or want what you have to offer. What if it did not take a big sales pitch and what if you were able to do that at minimum cost and monetize (make money) the whole process. Sounds great huh.
