    Best interview on "Man Without a Face." I heard an interview a week afterwards on public radio that did not even compare to Daily Show.

    could not agree more i also love Life's Too Short by Ricky Gervais, i suggest everyone to read it, so much facts in those book. Thanks for informations.

    I love these lenses you've put together. There are many of these books on my "to read list" right now. Though I almost voted in your poll above there wasn't the option I would have chosen. Got a Kindle this Xmas and love it but always try to find books at the library first before ordering either the cheaper PB or Kindle versions.

    I LOVED "We Need to Talk About Kevin," and I'm dying to see the film. But I'm not sure if it's coming to Boston? (Lionel Shriver, the author, is enormously talented -- I also loved her novel, "Post Birthday World.")

    everyday, there are news reports about the war, famine and crimes on tv like cnn but when jon stewart is on, i put down everything whatever i am doing, sit back and enjoy his show.

    I saw the episode with Jon Ronson in it. I read part of his book and it's really interesting. I recommended it to a friend as well. I figured it would be a good read, because when I was watching the interview, I felt like I really related to the author, the kind of social awkwardness, nervousness. Great lens!

    The Psychopath Test was pretty interesting; the bits the author put in about past attempts at psychopathy treatments/cures was crazy! Definitely worth checking out.

    I guess the last book that I read was Santa Fe Dead by Stwart Wood. It was a great book. I love it. If you have kids then you would want to check out my lens. ;-)

    This is a great idea for a hub. Re Amazon problem, Why don't you start a new lens every year? - still too many books? hmmm I'm new-ish to Squidoo so I'd like to know the answer as I've run into the same problem.

    Yup - I actually do start a new lens every year - some where there is a list - been doing this for 5 years now, I think.

    I counted up - since I break it out by week, I need about 40-42 Amazon modules (that's how many weeks the Daily Show actually airs original shows). We can only have 20 amazon modules. Maybe if I did every 2 weeks? But then some weeks there are 4 books and/or movies. Sigh .. still thinking. I tried it by category in my first year, but that didn't work too well - besides each amazon module can only have 5 listings.

    Still thinking ... :)

    Suggestion for limited Amazon modules... remove the old Amazon modules from the bottom of the list. Change them to text links. Each weekly update remove the bottom module and add a new module to the top. This way you will have a fresh list with pics and the older ones can remain as text links.

    PS, I'm a brand new lensmaster this week, so pardon me if I don't know what I'm doing. I am checking out the top 10 lenses and Wow. Nicely done!

    The Daily Show first introduced me to Malcolm Gladwell and I feel in love with his writings. I now own all of his books simply because I saw him on the Daily Show. Now that I know where to get the book list, I will be back, and I am sure I will find many more authors to fall in love with.

    Daily Show is great. Too bad some of the time he doesn't have enough time to better describe the books and talking with the authors since sometimes he's spending too much address the craziness of the day's before news. I can count many times where there was two minutes or less on the discussion of the contents of some of these books. But good for the author to get on the show, I'm sure being on the Daily Show definitely helps boost their sales.
