Born April 7, 1957, Dan Meyer was is a performance artist, corporate entertainer, inspirational/motivational speaker, and professional sword swallower best known for swallowing swords underwater in a tank of sharks and stingrays, as well as for making it to the quarter finals of "America's Got Talent."

- I could never figure out sword swallowing, except to assume that it's fake. But if they're doing it for real, I mean, there must be something missing in the inner workings of these folks--some guts we have that they don't--cuz ... where would the thing go? And ... how do people like this guy ever figure out that they have this talent? I'd never think, "Hey, I think I'll trying swallowing a sword today and see how it goes." :)
