Dance Music - AMBER

An Amber fansite with the latest Dance Music News. 

Although not well known outside Dance Music circles, Amber is a superstar in America's Dance Clubs.  And like CHER, Madonna, and Kylie Minogue, Amber is an Icon in the gay community.

Her first Dance Music single, the now Classic "This is Your Night", catapulted Amber to the top of the American Dance Music Charts.  The song itself has become so Iconic that it was used in a pivotal Dance Music scene from the movie "A Night at the Roxbury".

Amber followed up with a string of #1 U.S. Dance Music hits, including the worldwide smash "Sexual (Li Da Di)", "If You Could Read My Mind" (the theme from the Paramount Film "54"), and "Yes".  Amber's Dance Music career was on a roll and her songs "Above the Clouds" and "Object of My Desire" were even used in the hit HBO Series "Sex and the City".  To cap it off, Amber was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2004 as songwriter on Cher's Dance Music cover of the Global Peace Anthem "Love One Another".

After her final major label Dance Music single "Anyway (Men are From Mars)" hit the Dance Music Charts, Amber decided to part ways with Tommy Boy.  She founded her own label JMCA and released her latest Full Length CD "My Kind of World".  The CD is an ecclectic mix of Dance Music, Electronica, Alt Rock, Pop, and even Jazz.

Her post Tommy Boy Singles, namely "You Move Me", "Voodoo", and "Just Like That" have kept Amber on the U.S. Dance Music Charts.  Up next, is her collaboration with European DJ "Sweet Rains" titled "Melt With the Sun".  This new Dance Music single is currently being remixed by the likes of Hex Hector (Jennifer Lopez, Donna Summer), Tracey Young (Madonna), Al B. Rich (Mariah Carey), and others.  Release date is pending.
