Danny Phantom/Fenton's Friends and Family
The Good Guys
Tucker Foley (Tucker the Techno-Geek), the other of Danny's two best friends and fellow ghost hunters. Tucker has a crush on Valerie who is hunting down the ghost-boy because she believes he ruined her life.
Jasmine Fenton (Jas), Danny's sister who finds out he's half-ghost. Jas is openly ashamed of her parents' profession because she doesn't initially believe ghosts exist. Once she discovers ghosts are real she chills out about her mom and dad's ghost-hunting and helps Danny's alternate identity remain hidden from their parents.
Maddy & Jack Fenton, Danny's parents. They are professional ghost hunters and created most of the equipment Danny uses when he battles other ghosts, especially the Fenton Thermos. They are pretty lame a lot of the time, but are two of the best ghost-catchers in the world.
Paulina (Danny's crush). Paulina has a crush on the ghost-boy and doesn't know he's actually Danny Fenton.
Valerie, the girl Vlad Plasmius recruited to help him capture and indoctinate Danny against his dad, Jack. Valerie doesn't know she's Plasmius's pawn. She only knows that ghosts ruined her dad's job and therefore her life. Valerie has extreme ghost-fighting gear and knows how to use it.
Mr. Lancer, Danny's out-of-shape high school teacher.

Technis, the technology ghost. He escapes from the ghost zone regularly to take over computers and other technology and morphs them into robots that contain him.
Vlad Plasmius, the only other half-human, half-ghost in existence. Vlad's human name is Vlad Masters, one of the richest men in the world. Vlad, Maddy and Jack were lab partners back in college. The accident that turned Vlad into a half-ghost gave him ecto-acne, a horrible rash for which he was hospitalized for a very long time, and ruined his young life. Jack's incorrect calculations caused the accident that ruined Vlad's life. Vlad hasn't and will probably never forgive Jack. He still thinks that if it hadn't been for the accident, Maddy would have chosen him over Jack Fenton. Maddy was never really interested in Vlad, but Vlad refuses to see that. Plasmius has 20 years of experience at being half-ghost and Danny only has a few months under his belt. Vlad is evil and really wants Danny's mom, Maddy Fenton, for himself and curses Jack Fenton, Danny's dad, for stealing her from him in college.
